Technical Requirements
- Database Design, Data Maintenance, Database Security, Database Management, Requirements Analysis,
- Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role
- In-depth understanding of database structure principles
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, D3.js and R, SSIS,SSAS,SSRS)
- Experience with NoSQL, SQL databases, statistics and algorithms
- Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Pig, and related software stacks
- Experience in cross platform development for multiple variants of Unix, Linux including 32 and 64 bit
- Research, design, implement and test SQL and NoSQL mechanisms to allow access to data across different scales and complex datasets
- Expertise in SQL and NoSQL and Big Data Queries
- Proven experience in Data modeling
- Proven experience in Data migration tool
- Proven experience in Data Ware house
- Proven experience in Data base design
- Recognition of the value of Data Architecture Design Patterns
- Proven Experience in Designs Data Architectures.
- Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
- Understanding of various types of life cycle development including Waterfall and Agile / Scrum lifecycles
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- Typically requires 5 or more years of IT experience with 10 years supporting multiple business areas and technical solution development or management.
- Requires excellent analytical, organization and communication skills. Requires in-depth knowledge of system analysis and configuration, and IT processes and technologies.
