Gate Clerk

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Gate Clerk to join our team. As a Gate Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the inflow and outflow of surgical instruments, ensuring accurate counting and checking procedures are followed. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the availability of instruments for medical procedures.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

Receive incoming surgical instruments and verify the accuracy of the delivery against purchase orders or invoices.
Accurately count and document the quantity of incoming and outgoing instruments.
Update inventory records using electronic systems or spreadsheets.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely restocking of surgical instruments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gate area, ensuring proper storage and handling of instruments.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely availability of instruments
Follow established protocols and procedures for handling and documenting instrument transactions.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to address any inventory-related concerns or discrepancies.
