We are looking for a Content Writer to join our team and enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides, and marketing copy.
Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading.
Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.
Responsibilities:
· Contribute to the development of campaign strategy in line with the brand’s overall objectives.
· Produce onsite copy, meta content, guest posts, features, product descriptions, blog posts, press releases, white papers, guides, social media posts, and other content as required.
· Produce content for social media campaigns.
· Understand objectives and contribute to campaign strategy with creative, innovative ideas
· Develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals, and objectives.
· Develop SEO-friendly web content, including crucial strategic phrase placement within compelling and persuasive marketing copy that maximizes opportunities for indexing, ranking, click-through, and conversion
· Identify and liaise with relevant bloggers for outreach.
· Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services.
· Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
· Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
· Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
· Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone).
Requirements
· Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role.
· Experience doing research using multiple sources.
· Familiarity with web publications.
· Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
· Ability to meet deadlines.
· BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field.
