We are looking for a PHP web developer to manage the online development efforts for the company. You’ll be involved in all aspects of the development process as well as planning new features and functionality to expand the existing bespoke software. You must have excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP.
Build and develop new features and core functionality for an existing web-based application written predominately in PHP. You’ll be working to expand the current functionality and implement new features on our roadmap but also free to work on new ideas to extend the application and improve the overall usability and performance. You’ll work on both client-side and server-side code to achieve your goals
- Experience building web-based applications and scripts with proven portfolio work.
- High-Level PHP & Javascript skills. Highly proficient with the language and happy with trying out new ideas and concepts.
- In-depth Knowledge of Nodejs, Websockets, CSS, HTML.
- Knowledge of the jQuery library.
- MUST have Experience with WebRTC.
- Experience in Git.
- Knowledge of the LAMP stack and a Unix based operating systems.
- Knowledge of using open source development platforms and libraries.
- Ability to communicate ideas verbally in a coherent and impassioned manner.
- Must have Experience with Webrtc, Unix based operating system., MySQL
The following skills/attributes would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Java / Android SDK or Objective C / XCode
- A flexible attitude and happy to work in a small team.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
