Origin Trading is seeking a skilled Technical Supervisor to lead and oversee technical operations within our production environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in technical troubleshooting and quality assurance with at least three years of relevant experience. In this role, you will manage a team of three people, guiding their daily activities and ensuring that technical processes meet our high standards. Expertise in process improvement and network troubleshooting is essential to maintain smooth operations and optimize production efficiency. Experience in injection moulding or related production processes is considered a valuable asset, enhancing the ability to oversee manufacturing quality and problem resolution effectively.
The Technical Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the origin trading team by using advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical issues swiftly. You will establish and maintain process standards, ensuring all technical activities comply with company policies and industry best practices. This position requires a hands-on leader with excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to coordinate team efforts towards continual improvement in production quality and operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of a technical team consisting of three members, ensuring efficiency and adherence to project deadlines.
- Conduct technical troubleshooting across production systems to identify, analyze, and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in all technical operations and manufactured products.
- Apply process improvement methodologies to optimize manufacturing workflows and reduce downtime.
- Use diagnostic tools and network troubleshooting techniques to ensure stable and efficient production network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other departments to align technical operations with overall company objectives.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering skill development and maintaining high levels of technical proficiency.
- Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and process changes to support knowledge sharing and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and enforce safety standards related to technical and production processes.
- Evaluate the impact of new technologies and recommend updates or changes to enhance technical capabilities.
- Assist in the management and maintenance of production equipment, especially in relation to injection moulding or similar manufacturing technologies.
