About the Role:
Original Products is looking for an energetic and cooperative storekeeper to actively monitor and record the materials’ movement in the company.
Responsibilities
- Keep store clean, organized, and stocked with merchandise according to merchandising requirements and business operating plan.
- Receive the materials from the suppliers and cross-check the receiving with the suppliers.
- Ship the materials to the customers and ensure accurate quantities of goods are shipped to the customers.
- Store the materials in the designated places and as per production plans.
- Issues the materials to the production departments as per production plans.
- Receive, record, and store the semi-finished and finished material from various production departments.
- Share the reports of the materials with the accounting department on daily basis.
- Maintain stock levels as per requirements of the production departments and the sales forecasts.
- Inform the procurement department for any difference in the quality and/or the quantity of the received materials.
- Communicate with all departments on regular basis to ensure all departments have smooth and ample supplies of the materials.
- Carry out monthly manual inventory checks.
Requirements and skills
- Excellent team player with attention to detail.
- Prior experience as a storekeeper.
- Familiarity with production and operations.
- Minimum education of intermediate.
- Willingness to work for extra hours to complete and wind-up daily tasks.
