About the Role:
Original Products is looking for an educated, experienced, creative and ambitious WordPress Developer for building and managing the front-end and back-end of its WooCommerce websites.
The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience in front-end programming languages, WooCommerce development and management, user interface and experience, webstore aesthetics, and content management.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop different WordPress (/WooCommerce) webstores / websites for different product ranges / sister companies of the parent company using Gutenberg editor.
2. Develop customized themes and templates for all of the websites.
3. Manage the developed websites and webstores on daily basis.
4. Actively update the websites as the most effective and efficient methods and plugins.
5. Troubleshooting if any errors occur on immediate basis.
6. Actively monitoring the performance of the live websites.
7. Keep a directory of the manual codes used for the customization of the websites.
8. Coordinate with the online sales department for amending and/or updating the websites.
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a similar field.
2. Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer and WooCommerce Manager.
3. Knowledge of front-edge technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML, etc.
4. Experience in troubleshooting.
5. Good understanding of user interface and user experience designs of webstores.
6. Ability to manage and meet-deadlines of projects.
7. Willingness to work for extra hours during the webstore development and troubleshooting phases.
8. Good communication skills with company’s other departments.
