Our company needs a seasoned copywriter with knowledge about web development and inbound marketing to join our team. Blogs should have the appropriate metadata for each. Posts must be free of typos and grammatical errors. It's always funny when people say things should be typo-free in a post where there are typos. Stuff like that interests you a lot.
Here are some general terms and what we're looking for in the ideal candidate:
- You know the web development world very well
- have worked for an agency, managed projects or been involved in website development projects.
- You know HubSpot and how the HubSpot community works. You know the tool extremely well and can use it to write content and follow a content calendar.
- You can work with our Director of Marketing to churn out 3-4 good pieces of long-form content each week that is really useful for our buyer personas (short-handed marketing teams). Content could be podcasts, blog posts, pillar pages or whatever you'd like.
- We have in-house designers that you can lean on for support in that regard.- You love details and content.
- HTML/CSS etc aren't things you are good at, but you can do little formatting in a CMS like WordPress or HubSpot-
- Again, you love details. Details and Spiderman comic books from the 1960s are your two favorite things in the world (ok, not really). Regardless, to prove your attention to detail please answer the question 'what does DNS stand for?' as the start of your response.
- You'll assist the Director of Marketing with anything they might need from a writing perspective and will be an integral part of what our marketing team is trying to accomplish.
- Working with a team of people around the world and talking to developers about tools and techniques to help marketers is something you have an passion for.
