Job Description

•  Ensures that till is open and operating in time during store hours to avoid queuing of customers.
•  Ensures adequate cash float and change to facilitate transactions at the till.
•  To prevent shrinkage through theft, damage and errors.
•  To provide accurate and speedy checkout service. Be friendly to customers at all times.
•  Ensure sufficient loose change in various denominations are held at all times.
•  Ensure accurate daily till balancing / reconciliation and maintain proper records of cash movement.
•  Daily submits sales reports /bank remittances /expense details to head office.
•  Ensures timely submission of accurate reports to head office and performs revisions for any discrepancy.
•  To coordinate with Finance division regarding daily/ weekly cash sales report and problems regarding credit card transactions.
•  Must be aware of cash collection days and timing and remits cash, sales to cash collection officer.
•  Maintain and updates sales, cash collection, expense records.
•  Ensures strict control of the Point of Sales (POS) operation.
•  Attends to customer complaints, inquiries and suggestions.
•  Performs any other tasks not specified herewith as required, instructed by shop manager.
