The Sindh Education Non-State Actors (SENSA) is DFID funded programme that funds three (I)NGOs which are the Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee (BRAC), the Citizen’s foundation , (TCF) and the Family Educational Services Foundation (FESF), NGOs runs low cost private schooling for out-of- school children. SENSA works mainly in Karachi, where there are the greatest numbers of, but also in the districts of Qamber Shahdadkot and Khairpur. Oxford Policy management has been selected by DFID as an nInterim Contract Management Organisation to manage and monitor the delivery organisations and manage funds on DFID’s behalf pending the procurement of a longer-term supplier. Team leader, based in Karachi, will look after SENSA which will require the following, but not limited to: Provide oversight and management of the fortnightly monitoring visits in collaboration with OPM survey Director Pro-actively engage with NGOs based on the finding of the monitoring Capacity building of NGOs Engage with respective government counter parts as and when needed (District governments, Education department) Engagement with DFID Provide oversight and management for the implementation of learning assessments) Tracking of due diligence plan agreed with NGOs Tracking of expenditure reported by NGO.
