The quality engineer shall define, develops and implements quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other QE assessments should work collaboratively with development during all stages of projects to provide in process testing results.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Ensuring that delivered documents comply with templates and standards
- Systems are deployed with no defects of high severity
- Minimal customer feedback on project documents
- Designing and supporting all testing activities.
- Prepare test cases that cover all project functions.
- Execute all test cases and mark test cases with status accordingly.
- Production of QC deliverables during projects
- Prepare all related QC deliverables according to quality control process
- Deliverables are delivered on time and with minimal feedback.
- Execute all needed testing techniques & types
- Report defects accurately, assign to development team and review defects status
- Use planned defect tracking tool to report Defects.
- Defects reports are clear, detailed and easy to understand.
- Continuously coordinate and maintain good relation with the development team.
- Reporting and continuously monitor the quality of work performed.
- Defects reports per project are submitted on a weekly basis.
- Projects quality status is reported to assigned leader on weekly basis.
- Communicate serious quality problems to designated leader or manager.
Skills
- 1+ years of experience in software testing and quality control and assurance processes.
- A degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- Automation Experience is a MUST – Need to have Selenium WebDriver Experience (No Record and playback)
- Experience testing Android and/or iOS applications
- Experience Testing Web Application Platforms
- Proven track record to creating and executing on highly effective quality processes
- Experience driving end-to-end software quality
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
- Experience in writing test plans, test automation, or test cases.
- Is innovative, can simplify, and has relentlessly high standards
- Can juggle testing of multiple releases with multiple dependencies
- Able to handle an extremely fast pace while maintaining the highest quality standards
