Billing and collection chief is a lead in charge of department and will be reporting to Head of Finance and HR & Finance Coordinator.
- Extracting fee receivable list from student Management Information System and recording fee receivables in accounting software on monthly basis.
- Aging analysis of receivables and manage follow up of recovery of receivables.
- Reconciling fee deposited in Collection Account with student wise fee receivable and booking entry in accounting software on daily basis.
- Depositing advance income tax collected from fee with FBR on regular basis.
- Comparing enrolment data and fee billed/collected to identify any fee leakages.
- Reviewing & approving journal voucher for fee receivable on monthly basis and fee deposited on daily basis.
- Preparing and issuing payment instrument after due approval.
- Following up the student’s security deposits
- Allowing approval of student security deposit
- Preparing live reports for receivable, admission related on daily basis
- Reconciling of fee data with the campuses on daily basis
- Training the staff related to fee collection and resolving issues related to fee.
- Helping, assisting, and executing the internal and external audit
- Preparing the student bills and records according to finance and accounting manual and IFRS
- Preparing variances for fee collection & revenue weekly basis and present to the related department
- Able to make receivable reconciliation.
- Month wise bank reconciliation.
- Implementation of IFRS – 15
- Implementation of IFRS – 9.
- Prior experience of implementation of ERP System.
- Strong background of Accounting, Finance, IFRS & IAS.
- Able to liaison with external auditors.
- Thorough understanding of educational control environment.
- Able to understand risk management of education sector.
- Excellent understanding of MS Excel, Power query & database management.
- Any other task assigned by the management/supervisor.
