Project Manager Required (Contract based)
Project: Water Supply for Lahore Branch of Matiari-Lahore HVDC Transmission Line (CPEC)
Project Timeline: 7 Months
Client: China Electric Power Equipment and Technology Co.
Consultant: State Grid Corporation of China
Position Summary:
The applicant will be responsible for executing a major project of setting up a manufacturing facility and running its operations until project completion. The facility is to manufacture and supply Pre-stressed Steel Cylinder Concrete Pipes for water supply of Lahore Station (in Nankana Sahib) of Matiari-Lahore HVDC Transmission Line.
The Project Manager must work with team members across the organization and assign them sub-projects. He/she must ensure The critical path is followed without hurdles.
Major Responsibilities
- Team Leader
- Understanding the scope of the project
- Setting up a Critical Path and making sure it is followed
- Establishing a Gantt Chart on MS Project or a similar software
- Responsible for overall Project Management and Coordination
- Assigning Sub-projects to different members
- Coordinating with team members and ensuring the tasks are followed efficiently
- Ensure that a project is completed on time and within budget
- Overseeing the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied.
- Operations Management after setting up the manufacturing facility
- Ensuring QA/QC related works when operations start
