Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain organization’s websites and social media assets.
  • Ensuring information on organization’s websites and social media pages is accurate, accessible and user friendly.
  • Ensuring that website(s) are compatible with all Internet browsers and mobile devices (and proposing solutions, if any issues are found through testing or user feedback).
  • Managing overall visual look of website(s), their design and uploading images, videos and all other digital content, posts and other communications.
  • Assisting in designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Administer the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content for website and social media platforms.
  • Performing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences on existing social media pages.
  • Developing digital content and promoting it through social advertising (particularly on FB and Twitter).
  • Generating, editing, publishing and sharing engaging content on daily basis (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).
  • Suggesting and implementing new features to develop brand awareness (for instance promotions).
  • Staying up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

Tools and Applications Experience:

  • Developing and editing web pages using computer script languages such as HTML, JQuery and JavaScript.
  • Experience in working on CMS applications like WordPress, Joomla etc.
  • Experience in working on vector graphic editors like Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator etc.
  • Experience in working on audience segmentation, social listening and analytics tools like Agorapulse, Sprout Social, TailWind, Brand24, ShortStack, Google and Facebook Analytics etc.
  • Experience in animation tools will be considered a plus.

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • At least Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Marketing, Computer Science or related field. Formal Education in Multimedia and Digital Communications will be highly preferred. 
  • Minimum five (05) years’ relevant experience in communications focused in social and/or new/emerging media.
