Pakistan Reading Project (PRP) is going to administer Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA) student end-line assessment survey in its all targeted regions/provinces. Purpose of this end-line survey is to gauge the effectiveness of its two year reading interventions in Urdu language.  In this regards, short term assignment personnel (Master Trainer-MT) are required for almost one month (24 working and 04 non working days) during the month of March and April 2017. During this agreement MTs will be engaged with PRP to provide following responsibilities;

 Responsibilities:                                                                             

1.       Work in close coordination with other MTs & PRP assessment team to design standardized material and schedule for enumerators training as well as trainer detailed schedule

2.       Thoroughly practice developed standardized material to impart training to enumerators in regional based trainings along with regional PRP assessment team.

 Education: Master degree

Experience: 

·         Experience of imparting trainings for data collection and student assessment related surveys.

·         Experience of imparting training for early grade reading assessment is preferred.

·         Experience of administering & monitoring early grade reading assessment is preferred.

·         Prior working experience with PRP student assessment is preferred

·         Expertise are required to use MS Office for developing necessary training material

·         Managerial experience with data collecting and monitoring/evaluation activities preferred

·         Experience with development project preferred

The USAID-funded Pakistan Reading Project, implemented by the International Rescue Committee and its partners (Creative Associates International, World Learning, and Institute of Rural Management), is a seven-year project (2013-2020) with the objective to support the provincial and regional departments of education throughout Pakistan to improve reading skills of 1.3 million children in grades one and two. The project will achieve this goal through three distinct but interrelated components that will work in synergy to affect the quality of early grade education: Improved classroom learning environment for reading, Improved policies and systems for reading, and Improved community based support for reading in Pakistan.
