•   Manage, lead, mentor and motivate a team of professionals at different levels of hierarchy in the Networks and Infrastructure Wing to ensure optimal utilization of their maximum potential
  • Ensure that service levels specified by the Customer are met
  •  Assist in deployment of connectivity through Internet and Data Links, provide secure access to remote offices through VPN / Intranet and liaise with external Service Providers
  • Place all network connections on the Layer 3 Switches in separate virtual Local Area Network (vLAN) for the customer's subnet, accessible via high-end redundant, automatic failover switches and firewalls and maintain hardware and Firmware upgrades and patches for the network devices
  •  Notify unanticipated power outages or network issues to the Customer and their resolution
  • Manage, lead, mentor and motivate a team of professionals at different levels of hierarchy in the Infrastructure Wing to ensure optimal utilization of their maximum potential
  • Ensure that service levels specified by the Customer are met
  •  Management of data center, including, but not limited to, installation, configuration, fault management, troubleshooting, maintenance, replacement, expansion and renovation, periodic upgrades and improvements of hardware, Servers, SAN, telecommunication infrastructure and networks (cabling and wireless infrastructure, inter-building links, links to external networks and the equipment on which the network operates), generators and power infrastructure including UPS, air conditioning, air purification, fire suppression and other equipment, to ensure the ongoing suitability of the facilities
  • Contact with third party vendors to resolve technical issues
  • Maintenance of workstations, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT related hardware deployed at various offices of the Customer
  •  Installation, configuration, fault management and troubleshooting of Operating System, application software, biometric access control system, video surveillance system
  • Prepare, maintain and implement Business Continuity Plan (BCP) / Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP)
  • Management of highly redundant Storage Area Network (SAN) at primary and metro sites to act as a local storage device and stand-by server in the event of server failure
  •   Data Back-up / Restoration
  • Synchronous replication of data from Primary site to Metro site at both Data Centers
  • Asynchronous replication of data from Metro sites to Primary sites and Vice versa
  • Recovery of data with previous day’s data, being the most current, from offsite, in the event of total catastrophe, where servers and SAN on site are lost
  •   Emergency automatic failover to active/active / hot site
  •   Recovery of data systems and networks in aftermath of disruption
  • Maintenance of a NOC Area Services Desk as the single point of contact for the Customer for general service inquiries, incident reports, etc. which shall be assigned a number and a severity / priority level
  •  Any other task assigned by the GM (Operations)
