  • Prototyping, designing, and developing mobile applications
  • Partnering with the stakeholders and end users to translate ideas, high level specifications into new or enhanced mobile application solutions.
  • Mentoring junior resources and provide guidance ensuring all development standards and practices.
  • Pursues continuous improvement in development processes, standards and quality.
  • Coach, mentor, and lead a diverse group of lean/agile software engineers.
  • Quickly define and deliver working software prototypes.
  • Collaborate with product owners and architects to develop multi generation software technology plans.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to understand business and technical needs.
  • Communicate effectively with immediate team and leadership, ensuring team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy, and results.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as architecture, backend integration, visual design, UX teams, QA, etc..
  • Individual should have deep and diverse knowledge of the business industry targeted by the mobile project as well as be well-versed in management, development methodologies, and mobile development. A visionary is also responsible for the app’s consistency and makes sure it matches the customer’s requirements described in the specification documents.
  • Smart thinker who is able to understand and discuss high level system diagrams and visualizations to understand impact on solution design.
  • Strong understanding/experience in native mobile application development for iOS and Android.
  • Technical delivery experience in an agile environment.
  • Understanding of the interplay between QA and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
  • Interpersonal skills - strong partnering/relationship building abilities and effective communication with small and large groups.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and evaluate tradeoffs.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment operating at both strategic and tactical level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of modern software development and best practices.
  • Experience normally vary from 5 - 7 years including team lead and management exp. Expert in both iOS and Android.
