Oversee all aspects of project development and implementation including preparing project plans, establishing appropriate governance, identifying, allocating and managing resources, and meeting reporting requirements, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and in line with the organization project management methodology.

The selected candidate must be client focused and able to lead and guide project team members, interact with both technical and non-technical people, and work across the teams helping to deliver scalable, sustainable solutions. Contribute to the company's success by planning, executing and managing medium to large projects using sound judgement, strong interpersonal skills, and effective tools and techniques.

Required Competencies & Qualification:

  • Medium level skills and proficiencies in program/project management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches, with a minimum of 4 years successfully managing ICT projects.
  • Must have Masters /Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Project Management / IT Business Administration from some reputed foreign or HEC-recognized institution / university.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders, and drive decisions to closure; adept at moving executive and senior management to action.
  • Experience managing projects using agile and waterfall Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC).
  • Must have agile project management experience.
  • Develop a communication and engagement strategy and build strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the project and project deliverables are met.
  • Implement strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of projects, including risk and contingency management, benefits realization, and project impact and quality measures, to identify and address issues and assess project progress and overall effectiveness.
  • Have strong project management governance, standard, principles, project tracking and monitoring skills.
  • Experience in successfully using project management tools to execute small & large scale national & international projects.
  • Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities while proactively communicating status and issues to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities / Job Descriptions:

  • Plan, prioritize and oversee project management activities in an effective manner.
  • Prepare/review/approve project proposals/plans, budget estimates, determine timelines, and identify resources.
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively.
  • Understand customer requirements clearly and develop project plan, scope and deliverables.
  • Proactively works with business analysts, product managers, design, user experience, development and QA to understand project requirements and estimate effort to deliver.
  • Manage daily activities of project teams and provide assistances whenever needed.
  • Monitor project progress on regular basis and identify and correct any delays.
  • Assist in interviewing, recruitment, orientation of new hires.
  • Ensure technical proficiency and productivity of project team and identify training needs and arrange training to improve professional competence.
  • Assist in performance evaluation, promotion and retention activities.
  • Stay current with latest developments in project development & project management fields.
  • Serve as primary contact for client queries and concerns.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss about project status and issues.
  • Assist in preparation of design, technical, functional documents and other project reports.
  • Prepare SOW, review contract terms and conditions and perform client negotiations when needed.
  • Ensure that final deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Perform advanced levels of project management work, works under limited supervision and has considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Ensure that all project activities from design to deployment are performed within the allotted schedules, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure ongoing resource needs are captured and utilization rates are maintained across their cross-functional team(s).
  • Provide oversight and guidance to project team by developing or modifying work plans, assigning and distributing work, providing work instruction, resolving problems encountered during daily operations, and providing input for the performance enhancement plan.
  • Lead project team(s) to develop and gain approval of project plans, which outline the objectives of the project, scope of work, and project elements, including: schedule, project deliverables, procedures for accomplishing staff requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
  • Responsible for coordination of final delivery of project/applications or functionality, including user acceptance testing and final sign-off.
  • Develop relationships with and ensure appropriate participation of key stakeholders and executives.
  • Develop, negotiate, implement and monitor contracts, ensuring conformance to approved plans and contract specifications; follow prospective contracts throughout the review process, and coordinate actions for breach of contract situations.
  • Provide communications on services, utilization, engagement, accomplishments, overall value-add to the organization.
