• Responsible for the set-up, maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure.
  • Creating and maintaining fully automated continuous integration (CI) build processes for multiple environments
  • Writing build and deployment scripts.
  • Supporting CI/CD (continuous development) tools integration/ operations/ change management, and maintenance. Support full automation of CI/ Testing.
  • Supporting policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.
  • Training and supporting developers from source control, through build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, deployment based on tools usage and policies, standards.
  • Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production.
  • Prepares configuration management status reports for relevant stakeholders
  • Actively works to ensure smooth and timely software builds, release management and software deployments on development, staging and production systems
  • Troubleshoots and fixes configuration and deployment issues using appropriate tools

Required Skills: 

  • Must have working & administrative experience of version control software (source code management tools) such as Microsoft TFS, Git, SVN etc.
  • Experience of deployments of web services, APIs and Websites / web applications.
  • Must have experience to evaluate the current environment, gather needs, and propose a recommended CM solution
  • Expertise in defining and design CM standards for the technology
  • Expertise in defining manageable CM processes (checkout/checkin, merge, build, release, etc.) and implement them.
  • Expertise in installing CM technology based on needs and to integrate the CM technology with other technologies (development IDEs, defect tracking, etc.).
  • Expertise in automating major processes.
  • Knowledge of compilers, continuous build technologies, development technology build mechanisms
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows and basic knowledge of SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of modern software development practices such as agile methodologies and DevOps
