- Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
- To shape the experience an audience feels when interacting with a piece of software, a website, an application, or other product.
- Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UI/UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior.
- Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.
- Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
- Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups
- Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components
- Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Collaborating effectively with product, engineering, and management teams
- Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for products.
- Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Ad hoc duties as required by management
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer sciences / design / graphic designing / fine art / digital media or related field.
- Candidate having 3+ years proven work experience as UX/UI Designer or similar role in software industry.
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, wireframe, HTML, CSS (SCSS), OmniGraffle, Axure, Zeplin, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, JavaScript, iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop).
- A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
- A team player but can work independently too.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
- Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
