Main Responsibilities:
1. Linux Administration:
- Administering Ubuntu (20.0 or above) Linux Servers
- User & Group Management
- Securing File Systems with Attributes and File ACLs
- Upgrading Linux server with Resolving Vulnerabilities (CVEs)
- Patching Linux Kernel and Security patches BUG fixes
- Upgrading Linux System with oracle K Splice and up track (Online and offline both)
- Configuring Local ULN Mirror (Offline Package Repository)
- Configured Servers Like NFS FTP HTTPD CIFS NTP
- Configuring and managing Linux SAMBA Server
- Configuring and Managing Linux DNS (Name Server)
- Configuring and managing Linux Directory Services (LDAP)
- Management of Linux Services & Process
- Securing Linux with Firewall (Firewall D Iptables and UFW)
- Managing Linux Storage and Partitions
- Configuring and Managing PVs VGs and LVMs
- Auto Scheduling Linux Jobs with at & Crontab
- Recovering RedHat OEL and Ubuntu Lost root passwords
- Configuring Linux send mail and postfix MTA Server with SMTP relays along with monitoring SMTP logs and other smtp issues.
- Maintaining files and Logs of different applications on the Linux Servers.
- Configuring Nginx as a reverse proxy Configuring Nginx Cluster
- Monitoring Load and resources on Linux Servers
- Managing Spaces and storage on Linux Servers
2. Docker
- Working with docker container and images docker ENV with complete CI CD pipelines
- Managing docker container images
- Writing docker file and deploying docker image with docker file
- Working with docker compose file
- Managing docker with Jenkins and GIT
3. Load Balancer:
- Load Balancer configuration (With NGINX)
- Configuring HA (High availability Server) with Keepalive d or HA Proxy
- Configuring Keep Alive D with Nginx Load Balancer HA (High availability Server)
4. Mail Server Administration:
- Administration of Office 365 admin portal its security user creation group mailing list troubleshooting and reporting
- Configuring office 365 SMTP Relay (both open relay and close relay OR MTA)
- Configuring Mail Traps for DEV environments
- Trouble shooting postfix and SMTP related Issue on Linux
Required Skill-Set:

Pakistan Single Window
Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is an ICT-based system in Pakistan providing a single window for trade. PSW is a facility that allows parties involved in trade and transport to lodge standardized information and documents at a single-entry point to fulfill all import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements. If information is electronic, then individual data elements need to be submitted only once. PSW will connect relevant government departments with each other and with economic operators like importers, exporters, customs agents, shipping agents, transporters etc, in Pakistan for efficient management of cross border trade. It will provide the ease and transparency in achieving compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, through an on-line facility, that will intelligently handle the information for each transaction without the need to provide same information more than once or to physically visit such government departments. Pakistan has committed to implement various provisions of World Trade Organization’s (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement that includes implementation of a National Single Window (NSW) system before February, 2022. Pakistan also needs PSW implementation to overhaul management of its external trade for reducing time, cost and complexity involved to improve its position in various global rankings on competitiveness and ease of doing business. Guiding vision and mission objectives: VISION: Pakistan will establish a world-class automated hub by 2022, offering services and creating efficiencies, to reduce cross border trade related costs, time and complications for improved trade facilitation and compliance. MISSION: Improve cross-border trader processing by providing centralized ICT based services, simplified processes, effective and reliable automation, harmonized data exchange and risk-based selectivity in enforcement of government’s regulations.
