Key Responsibilities

  • Keeping all IT systems running smoothly and ensuring users get the maximum benefit from them
  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems, software, and applications
  • Administration of all IT peripherals
  • Installation of Printer, scanner, and other ICT peripherals
  • User administration Domain Controller
  • Configuration of user profile and Office 365 configuration
  • Assessing the new IT requirements and Procuring Equipment
  • L1 and L2 support for all desktop and laptop users
  • Create, Update, and maintain all IT asset inventory documentation
  • Installation and managing the Anti Virus
  • Support and troubleshoot all IT-related issues and escalate to vendors as required
  • Responsible for keeping all meeting equipment, i.e., conference cam, mic, speaker, and internet, with backup in working condition for smooth meetings.
  • Responsible for uploading jobs, tenders, policies, and legal sections of the PSW website
  • Creating users, providing access levels, and administration of ERP (Oracle Net Suite)
  • Configuration, troubleshooting, and maintaining all Network Equipment
  • Keeping up-to-date network Diagram of office
  • Monitoring of the Network to determine bandwidth consumption and outage.
  • Troubleshoot network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or configuration faults
  • Responsible for ensuring network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure with technical considerations.
  • Installation and support of LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
  • Managing multiple WAN Links to provide maximum uptime of internet.
  • Installation and configuration of Wireless network.
  • Configuring complete Intranet workspace location to give a single point of access to company information for employees using SharePoint online
  • Design and manage Office 365 SharePoint sites that meet current and future company requirements
  • Configure and create Site collections, Lists, Document libraries, Pages, and views to collaborate with users.
  • Implement document management using features like security, versioning, and access level
  • Create departmental sites and integrate them with the main company intranet site
  • Create Business process workflows to make the paperless environment
  • Access to business process flow which can be automated in the company
  • Understanding the complete process from the relevant department, creating prototyping, providing UAT, making it LIVE, and providing support to the workflows
  • Set up Microsoft Flows (Power automate) to provide auto approval and status update features based on predefined criteria
  • Provide technical support to end users and resolve day-to-day issues regarding SharePoint usage
  • Identify areas and processes where O365 and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvements.

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) is an ICT-based system in Pakistan providing a single window for trade. PSW is a facility that allows parties involved in trade and transport to lodge standardized information and documents at a single-entry point to fulfill all import, export, and transit-related regulatory requirements. If information is electronic, then individual data elements need to be submitted only once. PSW will connect relevant government departments with each other and with economic operators like importers, exporters, customs agents, shipping agents, transporters etc, in Pakistan for efficient management of cross border trade. It will provide the ease and transparency in achieving compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, through an on-line facility, that will intelligently handle the information for each transaction without the need to provide same information more than once or to physically visit such government departments. Pakistan has committed to implement various provisions of World Trade Organization’s (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement that includes implementation of a National Single Window (NSW) system before February, 2022. Pakistan also needs PSW implementation to overhaul management of its external trade for reducing time, cost and complexity involved to improve its position in various global rankings on competitiveness and ease of doing business. Guiding vision and mission objectives: VISION: Pakistan will establish a world-class automated hub by 2022, offering services and creating efficiencies, to reduce cross border trade related costs, time and complications for improved trade facilitation and compliance. MISSION: Improve cross-border trader processing by providing centralized ICT based services, simplified processes, effective and reliable automation, harmonized data exchange and risk-based selectivity in enforcement of government’s regulations.
