Job Brief:
To ensure all information has been processed to trial balance so that the end of month reports can be prepared. To be able to provide information when requested regarding accounts including debtors and creditors. To keep the Finance Manager informed of progress during the month regarding responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain records of business costs, such as labor and material
- Check invoices for inaccuracies
- Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
- Handle general account queries
- Contact clients about invoices that are past due
- Liaise with banks and external organizations
- Generate monthly invoices from operation services within allotted timeframe.
Skills:
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Effective organizational skills and time management
- Ability to work in a small team
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise judgment and work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Ability to cope with changes and willingness to learn new systems and procedures
