Are you a highly analytical and experienced finance professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a proactive and skilled Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts to support our financial planning, operations, and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for a combination of hands-on accounting, team supervision, and financial analysis, including:
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and finalization of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with all relevant standards.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, and in-depth variance analysis to drive financial performance.
Compliance & Audit: Ensure strict adherence to statutory, regulatory, and corporate compliance requirements. Prepare detailed schedules and coordinate effectively with internal and external auditors.
General Accounting: Oversee and manage core accounting functions, including the general ledger, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
Internal Controls: Maintain and implement robust internal financial controls and enhance financial systems for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a high-performance and accurate finance team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CIMA, ACCA) are highly preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong working knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial management software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
