This is a full-time role based in our main office RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage relationships with Commerce platform providers and other companies in the e-commerce space
- Identify new partners and negotiate business and technical terms with them
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to identify growth opportunities
- Inform, influence, support, and execute our product decisions
- Track, analyze, influence, and communicate key metrics to build opportunities and experiences that create scale and meaningful ecosystem value
- Monitor and manage customer reviews related to product assortment and update product content and site messaging to better service the consumer
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve marketplace strategies and tactics, enhance customer experience and maximize ROI
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience working within the commerce and business development space
- Experience in commerce partnerships and commerce platforms
- Experience communicating and presenting ideas to external and internal audiences on emerging opportunities for Marketplace
- Experience in partner management, a track record of influencing change across organizations
- Industry, media and conference presentation experience
- Quantitative and qualitative analytical experience with knowledge of operating principles
- Experience engaging with C-level of any partner organization
- Negotiation and vendor management skills
- Strong understanding of Shopify ecommerce platform
- Keen analytical mind, strong on planning, detail and accuracy, and be a demonstrably creative thinker.
