Looking for a visionary Import Officer for all matters related to day-to-day import operations, communication, processing, logistics, forwarding with various global suppliers.
Must be able to:
· Research, compare & negotiate various offers from potential vendors for the best possible pricing and agreement terms
· Compliance with local/regional government and global maritime commission regulations along with dangerous goods regulations
· Maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity standards at all times
· Prepare reports, cost analyses with monitoring for stock levels with warehouse coordination
Prerequisites:
· Effective interpersonal intelligence, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
· Exposure with purchasing software & supply chain procedures will be preferred
· Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
