Job Brief:

We are looking for a project manager to be responsible for handling our company's ongoing projects. You will be working closely with our project manager in New York to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the project manager in New York to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Develop project schedules, track work, and coordinate with field staff, clients, and engineers or architects to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Coordinate with the clients of the ongoing and potential projects and address their concerns and issues
  • Research and find the appropriate subcontractor for a particular job and onboarding them after agreeing and signing the contract
  • Procure the material required and provide receipts copy to admin for recording; ensure its delivery at the site and its handing over to the subcontractor
  • Coordinate with the subcontractor for any issues in the execution of work
  • Verify the bills submitted by the subcontractor against the work done at the site
  • Prepare the Payment Application against the work done as per the agreed payment schedule and send it to the clients and follow up with them
  • Ensure the documentation is up to date e.g. Work Permit for active jobs by confirming with the project manager in New York if for renewal and asking the admin to renew
  • Other duties may be assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Proven 3 years of experience as a construction project manager
  • Must have at least 1 year experience in the field
  • Must have at least 1 year experience in quantity take-off/estimates
  • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
  • Able to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Experience overseeing a construction project

Compensation: To be discussed

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (12:00 to 12:30 p.m. break time) – New York Time – Work from Home setup
