Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic Pakistani dishes including biryani, dasi, roti, karahi, kebabs, and traditional sweet dishes.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene according to health regulations.
- Manage kitchen inventory by monitoring supplies, controlling food costs, and minimizing waste.
- Execute efficient food preparation and cooking techniques to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
- Apply proper knife handling and safety practices to maintain kitchen safety.
- Operate kitchen display systems (KDS) to coordinate meal preparation and optimize workflow.
- Follow recipes strictly to preserve authentic flavors and maintain consistency across dishes.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen workspaces, utensils, and equipment regularly to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Participate in stock taking and communicate inventory needs to management.
- Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients and tools for efficient food preparation.
- Adapt quickly to high-pressure situations common in busy restaurant and hotel environments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff by sharing best practices to enhance meal quality, even without formal management responsibilities.
