Network monitoring, support, and administration experience, preferably from the ISP industry.
Certifications:
CCNA R&S preferred.
- Ability to work in teams and independently with candid professional attitude and excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work in shifts environment (24x7).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with focused and result-oriented personality.
- Strong concepts of IP routing & network designing.
- Good troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
- Perform routine monitoring and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Proactively identify, diagnose, analyze and troubleshoot issues with layer two.
- Install new hardware or components, while ensuring with existing network system Work with and mentor team members through professional behavior and knowledge sharing Communicating with customers on helpline
Specific Tasks
- Maintaining the hardware, software and network connections of the company
- Ensuring that the connectivity through internet is always up and running
- Providing troubleshooting solution in case of problems
- Installing connections involving LAN (local area network) & GPON
- Monitoring server activity
- Creating user accounts and monitoring their activity
- Interacting with clients and solve their connectivity problems
- Documenting the internet usage and related expense in the company and prepares reports
- Training junior staff in practical applications of broadband, GPON and networking
