About the Customer Service Advisor/Telephonist role:

  • You will be required to promote good customer relationships and communications.
  • You will be the first point of contact for our customers.
  • You will need excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • A high level of motivation is essential, as well as being extremely customer service focused and a desire to exceed customer expectations.

Customer Service Advisor/Telephonist Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience working in the parcel industry would be an advantage
  • Must have previous experience of call answering in a busy environment
  • Intermediate or advance Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement adopting best practice
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong and effective communication skills- both verbal and via email
  • Excellent telephone and people handling skills
  • Good team player

Specific Tasks

  • Responding to customer queries via phone and email
  • Follow up with queries
  • Maintaining a strong business relationship with clients
