Parker Russell Lahore office is hiring a skilled IT & Support Officer for its UAE based project to manage day-to-day IT operations and ensure smooth technical coordination between the Lahore and UAE offices, with responsibilities in system support, user assistance, asset management, and documentation control.

Office location: Gulberg, Lahore

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

 IT Operations & Technical Support

  • Provide first-line technical support for users in Lahore and UAE (onsite and remote).
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, and email configurations.
  • Coordinate installation and configuration of IT systems and software updates.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to senior IT personnel or external vendors as necessary

System Administration & Network Coordination

  • Monitor and maintain local network performance and connectivity.
  • Collaborate with UAE IT team to ensure system synchronisation and security compliance.
  • Support setup of VPNs, shared drives, and remote desktop access.
  • Maintain and configure office equipment (PCs, printers, routers, etc.).

Asset & Documentation Management

  • Maintain up-to-date records of IT assets and accessories.
  • Prepare IT-related reports including asset registers and incident logs.
  • Archive user access records and configuration documents.

Cyber security & Compliance

  • Support enforcement of company IT policies and cyber security protocols.
  • Conduct regular system and data security checks.
  • Assist in user training on safe IT practices and password management.

Coordination & On-boarding Support

  • Coordinate with the UAE IT team for new user setups and system on-boarding.
  • Provide IT setup support for new joiners and training sessions.
  • Assist with online interviews, assessments, and virtual meeting support.
  • Generate daily/weekly IT reports for management review.

Experience Required

  • 2–3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or helpdesk roles.
  • Strong understanding of Windows OS, MS Office 365, and networking basics.
  • Experience with remote support tools, VPNs, and ticketing systems preferred.
  • Prior exposure to multi-location or project-based IT coordination is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, Comp TIA A+, Network+, or MCSA will be an advantage/Upside.
