We are looking for a dedicated Parts Department Assistant to support the smooth and efficient daily operations of our parts division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely replenishment of parts. This role demands strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to uphold safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the parts department to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Oversee inventory levels, ensure stock accuracy, and coordinate the timely replenishment of parts.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate order processing and delivery.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to parts, provide accurate quotations, and handle requests efficiently.
- Maintain proper documentation, tracking, and organization of all parts and related materials.
- Monitor parts performance metrics regularly and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and operational standards within the department.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in parts management, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of inventory systems and parts management processes.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and related tools.
