Path Solutions is looking to hire a Database Architect for Karachi , Pakistan office .
Major duties and responsibilities include :
· Business and data analysis.
· Validates database change requests received from product development teams.
· Implements logical and physical data models.
· Analyzes and applies alterations/modifications to database.
· Ensure that data integrity is maintained.
· Database upgrade and logs verification
· Database health check and tuning
· Data Archiving
· Coordinate with support team and development teams to solve performance issues reported by clients.
Qualifications & Competency Skills :
· Minimum graduate in CS.
· 3-8 years of work experience in Oracle & MS SQL Server is must . Sybase experience is preferred.
· 3-8 years of work experience in database design, and performance tuning.
· Should have good verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be excellent in critical and analytical thinking.
· Good coordination skills.
