Project Overview
Pathfinder International, Pakistan is starting a new project three-year project NayaQadam: Increase Post-pregnancy Family Planning Through Expanding Public and Private Sector Service With a Focus on Young Women in 2018. We welcome applications from qualified candidates who are interested in sexual and reproductive health and possess the competencies, education, and experience cited below.
Summary: Pathfinder International is a global leader in sexual and reproductive health. Pathfinder International, Pakistan seeks a Consultant who can revised curricula of LHVs, CMWS & Midwives based in Punjab. The duration will be 90 working days.
Assessment
a) Desk review of existing curricula of LHVs, CMWS & Midwives
b) Draw comparison & identify differences between curricula of LHVs, CMWS & Midwives
c) Sharing of identified differences in curricula of LHVs, CMWS & Midwives & recommendation on modification of course duration
Advocacy
a) Consultative meeting with Provincial Departments of Punjab
b) Consultative meeting with the intra-provincial departments
c) Consultative meeting with the Federal & Pakistan Nursing Council
Development of Single Course
Final endorsement by Health (Federal)& Pakistan Nursing Council
Required Education, Training and Experience:
· MBBS & Masters’ in Public Health from HEC recognized university or equivalent
· Working with International donor would be preferred.
Minimum 20 years’ experience in Family Planning, Government & Advocacy.
