- To analyze, design & develop the application software program as per requirement.
- Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
- Write and maintain programming documentation.
- Troubleshoot the existing database application software on as & when required basis.
- To maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic and coding changes.
- Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
- To take & maintain the databases backups and restore upon requirement.
- Analyze performance of application programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users subject to the approval of management.
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
- To explore the new technology in order to upgrade the existing software system.
- Other duties as assigned by Department Head.
