A non for profit organization engaged in support of vulnerable communities through its programmes for Orphan kind, Thirst Relief, Emergency Response, Healthcare and Feed Our World in various areas all over the country. Organization requires services of “Finance and Compliance Assistant”, duties of that position could be as under but not limited to these:
1. Perform various computer, word processing and typing responsibilities;
2. Perform duties of filing, recording, sorting, duplicating and other related activities;
3. Operate computer-based programs for accounting information;
4. Enter/maintain data and generate reports in accounting system, as required by the Supervisor;
5. Assist in performing the financial functions required to maintain financial records.
6. Be knowledgeable about and supportive of accounting/ auditing procedures and directives;
7. Responsible for the keeping record of assets and maintain assets register;
8. Maintenance of the filing system ensuring safekeeping of confidential information;
9. Assist in review of sub grant procedures and audit of partner organizations
10. Carry out field visits and execute audit program as designed by the supervisor;
11. Any other task assigned by the Supervisor.
Skills & Knowledge:
· Adequate knowledge and practice of MS Office and Windows
· Adequate knowledge about accounting and book keeping
Qualification & Experience:
· MBA/M. Com in finance or relevant field
· Relevant experience in accounting, recording transactions, book keeping, bank reconciliation, filing and maintaining records
