A non for profit organization engaged in support of vulnerable communities through its programmes for Orphan kind, Thirst Relief, Emergency Response, Healthcare and Feed Our World in various areas all over the country. Organization requires services of “Project Coordinator”, duties of that position could be as under but not limited to these:

1.                  The role of the Project Coordinator is to interact with Mera Apna Ghar’s (MAG) children and foster mothers, provide guidelines, in accordance with those provided by the Supervisor, and see that these guidelines are followed.

2.                  To provide educational support to MAG’s children and collect their school reports for the review of Manager Projects.

3.                  To ensure that the children are complying with proper hygienic procedures.

4.                  To be knowledgeable regarding the children’s whereabouts at all times.

5.                  To administer appropriate approved discipline when necessary. (The children are never to be struck or deprived of food).

6.                  To provide guidance and support to the foster mothers for accomplishment of their responsibilities more effectively.

7.                  To engage with foster mothers and children and help them in understanding of their problems and their solutions.

8.                  To arrange meetings twice a month with MAG’s foster mothers to ensure smooth functioning of MAG.

9.                  To properly record minutes of every meeting with foster mothers and share it with the Manager Projects.

10.              To communicate with Supervisor regarding all issues of importance whether or not discussed in the meetings with foster mothers.

11.              To file a written monthly report on the progress and functioning of MAG and submit to the Supervisor in first week of the following month.

12.              To properly maintain and keep update all record of MAG’s children, foster mothers and attending visitors at MAG.

13.              To regularly supervise and monitor MAG in terms of their cleanliness and ensure a healthy, safe and peaceful environment.

14.              To help in new admission of children at MAG, maintenance of their record and assist the Manager Projects in related decisions.

15.              To purchase groceries and other consumable items for MAG from the designated vendors and maintain proper record of invoices for submission to the finance department.

16.              To ensure quality and quantity of food served to the MAG’s children.

17.              Keep a detailed written health record on all children. This includes noting all medical and dental issues when the children are first admitted to MAG.

18.              To manage petty cash expenses of MAG and provide summary with supporting invoices to the finance department.

19.              Responsible for all administrative functions of MAG keeping informed the Manager Projects.

20.              To arrange recreational and educational visits to nearby places and also organize in-house healthy entertainment activities/games for children.

21.              To prepare and submit report of any activity conducted at MAG with pictorial record.

22.              Responsible to take children to the hospital for medical treatment when needed and be vigilant in terms of children health issues.

23.              To ensure availability of quality education (formal/religious) to all the children in MAG.

24.              To ensure proper security protocol are followed at MAG.

25.              Any other responsibility assigned by the Supervisor.
