Water Quality Analyst

A non for profit organization engaged in support of vulnerable communities through its programmes for Orphan kind, Thirst Relief, Emergency Response, Healthcare and Feed Our World in various areas all over the country. Organization requires services of “Water Quality Analyst”, duties of that position could be as under but not limited to these:

With the guidance of Sr. Programme Officer (Thirst Relief), The Water Quality Analyst will conduct Pre-Water Quality Tests of the PAPk supported water sources.
Will ensure all standards and measures to be taken before and during sample collection.
Will also facilitate partners/stakeholders in sample collection and maintenance.
Will conduct pre-interventions water quality tests especially for arsenic, Biological, and chemical contaminations.
Treatment of water sources to ensure availability of safe water for drinking.
Conduct post water quality tests to verify the safety of water.
Organize laboratory supplies and maintain standards.
Prepare standards and solutions to be used in chemical and mirco biological/chemical tests.
Assists the Lab with data entry and Lab documents management.
Cleans, sterilizes and prepares laboratory equipment, material for use.
Cleans and maintains Laboratory work area.
Perform routine calibration and verification if meters and other Lab equipments.
Perform any other task assigns by supervisor or senior Leadership of the organization.

Essentials:

1. A graduate or diploma holder.

2. Certification in Water Quality Testing from Government institute would be an assets.

3. 1-2 years of water quality testing experience is required.

Required Skills:

· Computer Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point, outlook) will be required.

· Ability to use Lab equipments.

· Have driving skills and able to travel and stay at remote locations.

· Ability to adhere to strict quality control guidelines.
