- Demonstrate high ethical standards and integrity in personal and professional dealings, and be willing to act on, and remain accountable for his/her decisions.
- Develop an in depth knowledge of the company's business and strategic plans in order to exercise informed judgment while fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of a CEO.
- Strong ability to build alliances for the organization utilizing stakeholders and board members to communicate key messages to civic leaders.
- Must possess long-term strategic planning ability, able to plan and direct beyond day-to-day operations.
- Be an outstanding communicator, responsive to the needs of the public, board of directors and other officials and employees.
- Must possess good instincts to identify and build relationships with key community leaders and influencers.
- Prior strong working relationships with the Board, especially as Chairman of the Board.
- Must have experience setting up a business in a new country while working remotely from the corporate office.
- Must have prior COO or CEO experience in another, best in class organization.
- A minimum of 20 years of executive management experience within a professional services sector, of which the last 10 years will have been spent in a multidisciplinary leadership post
