Job Description:
· Ensure smooth communications & coordination with clients and give daily report to Operations Manager
· Ensuring that all clients’ queries are well-investigated resolved & followed up with. Both Client & Operations Manager must remain updated all the time
· Under the supervision of the Operations Manager , liaise with Customers & Vendors
· Constantly review working processes with carriers, transport companies & custom officers to ensure best practices & an efficient supply chain
· Validate Rates on regular basis & ensure freight rates, vessel schedules, required transportation services etc are given accordingly
· Maintain and file all records (both in hard copy & soft copy) in accordance with company procedures
· Responsible for ensuring each shipment generates the maximum contribution to the company by keeping constant focus on meeting the required service level at the lowest possible cost
· Assist the sales personnel with quotations and client/product knowledge
Job Specifications:
· Candidate should have experience in freight forwarding industry.
· Fluent in English & Urdu (Written & Verbal)
· Experienced user of Microsoft Office (MsWord, Excel & Powerpoint)
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
· Knowledge of all Import/Export regulations and documents
· Experience of 2-4 years in Freight Forwarding Industry
· Reporting to: Manager Operations
