The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Requirements management including:
o Requirements solicitation and coordination with stakeholders, developers and end-users of the GIS solutions
- Identifying dependencies and working with the team to ensure requirements traceability
- Preparing functional specification of the system and other forms of documentation as required by the client
- Hands-on development to maintain and evolve the existing GIS applications, develop new features, design new applications/modules and perform system integrations
- Write unit tests, automated integration tests and support the QA team to ensure timely and high quality delivery of software
Requirements:
- A BS or MS in Computer Science from a reputable institution
- Have excellent communication in the English language, both written and verbal, and with colleagues and clients
- Be able to work effectively both individually, and as part of a team
- Have a strong work ethic and level of professionalism
- Candidate should have at least seven years or more experience and skills in the following:
o SQL/T-SQL/PL/SQL (Oracle 10g/11g and/or MS SQL Server 2012)
o VB.Net/C#/ASP.Net
o ESRI ArcGIS 10.x plus
o TypeScript/JavaScript
o Fluency with Schieder Electric ArcFM 10.x products
o Java
o Web Mapping application development and management on Latitude Geographics Geocortex platforms
o Web Application Development using MCV Frameworks.
