I am a competent development professional having an experience of 15 years in Situational Assessment/Appraisal, Project Designing, Project/Team Management, Human and Institutional Development, Community Empowerment, Relief / Rehabilitation, Climate Analysis, Knowledge Management, Advocacy, Monitoring and Evaluation.
I have Master Degree in English Literature from Peshawar University, a Degree of MBA Executive (HR) from Sarhad University of Information Technology, Peshawar and Graduation level Certificates in Sociology & Journalism from Alama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Islamabad. I have also completed several training courses on Project Management, Advocacy, Gender Mainstreaming, and Social Empowerment. Besides, I got a month long training on Climate Change Analysis / Climate Corridors in Zurich, Switzerland.
During my career in the development sector (2002-2017), I successfully performed multi-dimensional roles and acquired valuable skills through my practical work and capacity building programs by different development agencies. I worked as: Finance Manager in CHIP’s partner organization; Team Leader of SDC funded Livelihoods Rehabilitation Programme for Earthquake Affectees in district Shangla; Team leader of SDC/IC funded Target Group Mobilization / Organization in Karim Abad, district Chitral; Service Provider Facilitation to SDC/IC Livelihoods Programme in district Swat; Programme Officer WASH in Handicap International; Programme Manager of Caritas / CRS funded MHP Project in district Shangla; and a Freelance Consultant to different development agencies. During November 2014 – July 2017 I worked as Deputy Director Communication and Outreach at SDC funded Climate Change Centre, the University of Agriculture Peshawar and served Water for Livelihoods Project of HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Pakistan as Knowledge Management Officer from August to December, 2017.
