Healthwire Pharmacy, a vital division of Healthwire—one of Pakistan’s rapidly expanding healthcare networks—is looking for a committed Pharmacy Purchase Manager to join their Lahore team. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing the procurement of medicines and pharmacy supplies, ensuring that high-quality healthcare products remain accessible and affordable. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining optimal inventory levels, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for medicines and pharmacy supplies.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and distributors to obtain competitive pricing and advantageous credit terms.
- Maintain accurate inventory and purchase records utilizing pharmacy management systems.
- Ensure timely replenishment of stock to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with warehouse, finance, and branch managers to streamline operational workflows.
- Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and the introduction of new products to inform purchasing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to pharmacy procurement activities.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with suppliers and business partners to support ongoing procurement needs.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in pharmacy purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven negotiation skills and vendor management expertise.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate market trends and supplier performance effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.
