A leading clinical laboratory in Karachi is looking to hire Phlebotomists (blood sample collection personnel)
Fresh and non-experienced candidates may apply. Training will be provided.
Matriculation or Intermediate level education is necessary
Requirements: Candidates must possess good communication skills, and a calm and friendly manner in dealing with patients
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Drawing blood from patients
- Talking with patients to ease fear of blood collection
- Verifying identity of patients
- Handling equipment such as needles, gauze, tourniquet, cotton and alcohol
- Labeling and storage of samples
- Disposal of used equipment in accordance with policies
