The position is required for Manzil Pakistan - a company of Marine Group. The candidate will be required to:
Assist Manzil Pakistan team in assessment of projects, processes and reporting under the ambit of law and justice;
· Carry out research on matters concerning/governing laws and legal practices;
· Make use of law library and relevant internet resources to determine information relevant to court cases, hearings, depositions, and legal meetings;
· Make suggestions and recommendations to the higher management at Manzil Pakistan for undertaking projects, processes and reporting related to law and legal research;
· Utilize relevant law forums to collect information for law and policy evaluation purpose;
· Visit apex courts to gather information required for research purpose;
· Maintain coordination with internal and external researchers, lawyers and significant stakeholders for project purpose or otherwise;

PIBT has been setup as the Country’s first terminal for handling Coal, Clinker and Cement on build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis at Port Qasim Authority. Port Qasim is located Fifty Kilometres from Karachi, on the coast line of the Arabian Sea. It has a forty five kilometer long navigation channel which provides safe and convenient navigation for vessels. Port Qasim handles more than 40% of Pakistan’s cargo. PIBT has built capacity for handling upto 12m tons of Coal and 4 million tons of Cement & Clinker per year, which can together be further enhanced upto 20 million tons per year. PIBT has been set up for handling and delivering coal to Power and Cement plants by utilizing the rail, road and sea networks. PIBT has become an integral part of the coal supply chain upto the entry gates of power and cement plants located across the country.
