Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Sr. Accounts Manager will be responsible for the general accounting function including:

· Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations

· Preparation of monthly financial statements, ability to play a key role in the monthly close

· Prepare journal entries and accruals for monthly close

· Record, reconcile and pay vendor invoices

· Reconcile credit card statements

· Monitor the maintenance of filing and documentation

· Perform monthly reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts as well as bank reconciliations

· Participate in regular tax audits and payroll

· Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues

· Manage month-end and year-end closing

· Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department

· Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records

· Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives

· Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets

· Ensure compliance with the law

· Work as a team with other accounting staff in standardizing practices and procedures

Qualification and Experience:

Skills Required:

Proven track record of professional excellence
Demonstrated skills and experience in managing the pursuit of goals through collaboration and teamwork
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Textile Industry experience will be a Plus
