About The Position:
We are seeking a talented Shopify Developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our in-house team of skilled Shopify and Big Commerce developers here in Karachi. As a Shopify developer you will be a critical member of the e-Commerce development team working with our USA-based team and collaborating with developers across the globe.
On our team, you will:
- Work with a passionate, smart and ambitious team of engineers who work on different technologies and platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, Salesforce, etc.
- Conduct technical troubleshooting, customization & enhancements as required during the integration process
- Document key learnings into playbooks for future course correction
- Move fast, learn, and continuously iterate, championing best practices and ensuring highest technical standards
Technical Skills Required for This Post
- 3-5 years of experience with Shopify
- Strong programming skill is mandatory, including understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and S.O.L.I.D programming foundation
- Certified Shopify app developer can be a plus
- Strong knowledge of liquid templating syntax
- Understanding of frontend core technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of JavaScript front libraries and frameworks such as (React, Angular, VueJS) can be a plus
- Develop custom Shopify themes or add customize to existing themes
- Working knowledge of writing scripts on script editor
- Understanding of Shopify REST / GraphQL API’s such as
- Store front API
- Ajax API
- Admin API
- Knowledge of developing a Shopify application
- Migrating websites from other eCommerce platforms to Shopify such as WooCommerce and Big Commerce.
- Version control systems such as Git / SVN
- Knowledge of Node.js
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with team members and clients
