Job brief
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Shehzore truck / hiace van driver to drive for free eye camps throughout the country.
Responsibilities
- Transport camp medicines and equipments over land to and from camp places.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Plan routes for long distances and meet delivery schedules.
- Log Book, vehicle reports and small expenses like fuel/toll receipts management.
- Knowledge driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking) as well as with trust policies and procedures.
- Loading or unloading of vehicle.
- Report defects, accidents or violations.
- On / Off duty hours (Sunday is not holiday during Camps)
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
- Local area knowledge but some long-distance driving will also be required, so experience in of Punjab cities, KPK and Kashmir areas is desirable.
- Valid truck driving licence.
- Perfect eyesight with good health age ranging 25 – 40 years
Working hours: 09 – 06 pm (On / Off duty hours)
