Must speak, read and write perfect English. Has managed manufacturing inventory befre. Must be capable of implementing a software inventory management system - referably bringing the system needed. Should be familiar with steel products manufacture and metal finishing
Provide forecasts of inventory requirements. Write P.O.s and monitor delivery performance Maintain inventory stock levels at optimm levels. Source suppliers of materials and components to find best quality and price. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and monitor price charges. Ensure all materials and components received are to standards set.
Track sub component production production and inventory usage. Validate invoices, approve for payment and interface with accounting department. Report status and progress to upper management.
