Pomakar is seeking a dedicated Broadly Machine Operator with a minimum of five years of experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will expertly operate and maintain broadly utilized machinery, ensuring consistent production quality and adherence to safety standards. This role requires hands-on involvement in everyday machine operations and quality control processes, guaranteeing that all products meet company specifications and industry regulations. The operator plays a crucial role in maintaining smooth production flow and minimizing downtime through proactive machine monitoring and adjustments.
In addition to technical expertise, the role involves managing a team of 10 persons. The operator will provide leadership and guidance, fostering teamwork, adherence to operational procedures, and continuous improvement within the team. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to coordinate tasks effectively and to maintain high morale, productivity, and safety standards across the team.
Responsibilities
- Operate broadly used machinery efficiently and safely according to company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor machine performance and conduct routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity.
- Perform quality control inspections to verify product conformity and maintain high-quality production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machinery issues promptly to minimize production delays.
- Manage and supervise a team of 10 machine operators, assigning tasks and monitoring their performance.
- Train new team members on equipment handling, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of production data, machine maintenance, and quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols to provide a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate suggestions to management.
